ESA Meets at Heartspring for their annual Fall meeting in November and were entertained by our wonderful
Choral Sensations!
When you are entertained by the children of Heartspring and realize the challenges they have but are still able to entertain and perform their expressions in music you can't help but understand that no matter what our challenges in life we CAN! These young people are an inspiration to us all and the reason why we support Heartspring
Heartspring honored ESA and its achievements to build the Heartspring Tree house. Heartspring has been the Council's State Philanthropic Project since 1949 with the creation of our council. The Council has given over a Million Dollars to Heartspring in money and gifts in kind. The latest project was the Treehouse. Under the direction of Angie Fairbanks the council hopes to finish up our financial commitment a year ahead of time. There is still approximately $18,000 to complete this commitment. Angie is asking us to dig a little deeper this year It would be a good bet that we do it!!
Barb Griffith and Terri Clark man the reception table for the Officer's Tea at Heartspring. District D had hosted the Kansas State Council for MANY MANY years and are greatly appreciated for their efforts to make the Council feel welcome the weekend of the Heartspring Shower. BTW - the cookies were delicious too!!
