Heartspring Treehouse is dedicated - ESA is an honored guest
Judy Ahrens, 2013-2014 Kansas State President was given the honor to speak and assist with the ribbon cutting for the Tree house dedication at Heartspring this past August.
Even though construction is complete on the Heartspring Treehouse and the children of Heartspring are playing on it every chance they get, our pledged obligation for this project is still not complete. Our pledge was to raise $60,000 over a five-year period and we are just starting year #4. Our current total raised is $41,809 as of June 18, 2013. That means that we only have $18,191 to go. Second Vice President, Angie Fairbanks has challenged us to meet this obligation one year ahead of schedule.
Beautiful memorial bells are placed near the Tree House to honor those who have past.
Members of Beta Beta (Shirley, Cindy, Paula, Beth, Rita and Jacque) take a moment to record their attendance while Delta Chi (Jill and Marsha) "supervise".
It is customary for ESA members to stop for lunch or dinner after one of our events to share a little more time together. This time we invaded the Red Rock Canyon Grill for lunch. (Yummmmm) (Left and to the left around the table: Donna, Ruth, Judy, Paula, Jacque, Rita, & Verneene )

There were approximately 40 ESA members that attended the Tree House dedication from across Kansas.
ESA letters are prominently placed at the top of the Tree house. It is a fitting tribute to ESA’s lasting commitment to Heartspring. Judy, Jill and Marsha peak out the window for a Kodak moment.
